The man accused of assault during a racist rant at a Halifax Costco has had his charges updated, some getting dropped, and others getting added on.
A video posted online shows Randall Byron Publicover, 37, allegedly assaulting someone and threatening women in hijabs in July.
He was later charged in the case, but those were updated by police on Thursday.
Instead of just one count of assault, he is facing two.
They also added on charges of harassment and intimidation.
Some other charges were changed, and he now faces two counts of uttering threats and one count of mischief.
He is no longer accused of resisting an officer or having a weapon dangerous to the public.
He appears in court again next month.
