The Keating and Saputo Centres at StFX were closed, Monday, due to a minor fire.
The university says the blaze was in the Keating Centre and as a result all classes, activities and events scheduled in both buildings were cancelled.
Antigonish Fire Department, RCMP, and Facilities management responded.
The university has shared that the fire was contained to the ice plant room and was electrical in nature. There was no fire damage to the building.
Both buildings are scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, but the arenas will be closed until further notice.
