Pair arrested during vehicle stop have case adjourned

Two people charged after a vehicle stop in Antigonish Co. are scheduled to return to court in June.

Police say officers arrested a man and a woman during an Aulds Cove stop in November.

They say they seized dexamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Logan Brophy, 25, of Mulgrave and Kristin Smith, 25, from Frankville each face a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking; their cases opened in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court in December.

They were expected for election-and-plea in Antigonish Provincial Court Wednesday; instead, the hearing was adjourned until June 13.

It was also adjourned in March.
