An emergency department in the Quad Counties is going to be closed for the weekend.
Health officials say the Strait Richmond ER will be closed Saturday and Sunday; it will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday.
They say the closures are due to physician unavailability.
You’re asked to go to the nearest open ER or call 9-1-1 with an emergency; you can get non-emergency health advice from a registered nurse by calling 811.
