Have you had a doctor appointment by phone? Many doctors have been offering this service for a number of months. We used the option a few months ago for our son and it was fantastic. Obviously this isn’t the best if you need a physical exam, in that case, you would make an in person appointment.
It appears many Nova Scotians are taking advantage of the service, as of September 2, more than 919,250 services were provided over the phone or virtually.
This morning, the Nova Scotia Government announced that they will be extending access to virtual care options like telephone and videoconferencing until December 31, 2020.
