Dartmouth man charged for stunting with children in car in Antigonish Co.

Police say officers stopped a driver with a revoked license travelling 57 km/h above the posted speed limit with two children in the vehicle.

They say they clocked the vehicle going 157 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on Hwy. 104 in Antigonish Co. at 3 p.m. Saturday.

RCMP say the male driver, 32, from Dartmouth had two young children with him and he previously had his license revoked.

They say he’s been charged with stunting; that comes with a fine of $2422.50; he was also charged with driving while revoked.

Police say his vehicle has been seized and his license has been suspended for seven days.
