Officials with the provincial government have announced more than $300, 000 in funding for trails in Inverness Co.
Members of the Inverness Co. Trails Association are getting $200, 000 in provincial funding.
There’s also $53, 000 for officials with the Port Hood Development Association, and $75, 000 for Inverness Development Association members.
The funding is part of $1, 000, 000 included in provincial officials’ latest budget for the expansion of trails across the province.
