Woman arrested in Antigonish Co. drug bust expected in court

A suspect charged in relation to a drug bust in Antigonish Co. is scheduled to return to court Tuesday.

Leotta Marie Cameron, 66, of Frankville entered not guilty pleas to two possession for the purpose of trafficking counts and a breach in September.

Police say members of the Antigonish-Guysborough RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit found marijuana and prescription pills when they searched a home in Frankville in March.

They say they found more marijuana and prescription pills when they searched the same home in April.

Cameron, whose case opened in court in May, is expected to stand trial in Antigonish Provincial Court.
