An emergency department in the Quad Counties is closing overnight.
Officials at St. Anne Community and Nursing Care Centre in Arichat say their ER will close at 7 p.m. Thursday; it will reopen at 7 a.m. Friday.
They say the temporary closure is due to nurse unavailability.
You’re asked to contact 911 or go to the nearest ER if you have an emergency; you can call 811 for non-emergency health advice from a registered nurse.
