An Inverness County female has died as a result of an incident in Port Hood.
RCMP and Paramedics responded around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday to a 911 call at the unsupervised Day Park Beach.
The Hawk has learned that a senior citizen from Port Hastings died in what is believed to be a swimming incident.
RCMP are continuing the investigation.
