A former Cape Breton West Islander is on the move in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Cheticamp native Logan Timmons has been acquired by the Q-League Champion Acadie-Bathurst Titan from Val-d’Or for a 2021 eighth round pick.
The 18 year old forward spent most of last season with the Yarmouth Mariners of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League where he racked up 32 points in 49 games.
Timmons appeared in five games with Val-d’Or, who originally selected him in the 11th round of the 2016 QMJHL Draft.
Timmons joins another Islander’s alumnus, Logan Chisholm who was drafted by the Titan in 2017.
