It’s a storm day in the Quad Counties.
Officials with the Strait Regional School Board have cancelled classes due to weather conditions; support staff are expected to report to work at 10 a.m.
Ecole acadienne de Pomquet, Ecole Beau-Port in Arichat, and Waycobah First Nation School are all closed for the day.
Classes have also been cancelled within the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board, classes at NSCC Strait Area Campus start at 9:30 a.m. and morning classes at Cape Breton University have been called off.
