There are a pair of local winners of Cape Breton Partnership awards.
The late Brian Samson, a founding partner of Arichat-based Premium Seafoods Ltd., and the Inverary Resort, with its long-time proprietors the MacAulay family, are two of the four recipients of the fifth annual Economic Impact awards.
The awards recognize individuals and organizations who have demonstrated superior leadership in the island’s business community.
They’ll be presented in Ingonish as part of the partnership’s annual investor summit Thursday night.
