Police say two infants were home at time of suspicious Waycobah death

RCMP say they continue to investigate a suspicious death in Inverness Co.

They say officers responded to a call of a suspicious death at a home on Hwy. 105 in the Waycobah First Nation just before 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say a 22-year-old woman from Waycobah was found unresponsive.

They say two infant children were in the home at the time, but were not harmed; they’re being cared for by family members.

RCMP say they’re not releasing the name of the victim for now; they don’t believe the death was a random act.
