Officials with the Nova Scotia Health Authority say the emergency department at the Strait Richmond Hospitalin Evanston will close at 7 a.m. Wednesday, and re-open at 8 a.m. Thursday.
Meanwhile officials at St Anne Centre in Arichat say their emergency room will close at 7 p.m Tuesday and will re-open Wednesday at 7 a.m.
They say physician unavailability to cover the shift at Strait Richmond and nursing staff unavailability in Arichat is the reason for the closures.
