St. Andrews’ Declan Smith had a pair of assists for the Screaming Eagles (10-9-1), who have won back-to-back games; they’re in a three-way tie with Rimouski and Blainville-Boisbriand for eighth in the 18-team league with 21 points, two points behind Charlottetown for seventh, and a point ahead of 11th-place Sherbrooke.
It was the first game between the teams; they meet for the second and final time in the regular season in Chicoutimi Nov. 17.
