A weekend ER closure is in place at a hospital in the Quad Counties.
Officials with the Nova Scotia Health Authority say the emergency department at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston will closed at 7 a.m. Saturday morning and will re-open at 8 a.m. on Monday.
They say physician unavailability to cover the shift is the reason for the closure.
You’re asked to go to another ER or call 911 with a medical emergency; you can call 811 for any non-urgent.
