It’s the first full snow day of the school year in the Quad Counties.
Officials with the Strait Regional Centre for Education have cancelled classes due to road conditions and poor weather; support staff are expected to report to work at the regular time.
Ecole Beau-Port in Arichat, Ecole acadienne de Pomquet, Waycobah First Nation School, Mi’kmawey School and Allan Lafford High are also closed.
