Inverness Co. officials distributing water to Judique residents as boil order continues

Municipal officials in Inverness Co. are providing water for pick-up for customers on the Judique Water System.

They say customers can pick up water for their households- free of charge- at the Judique Fire Hall between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday; residents are allowed 20 litres per person in the home.

Judique Water System customers are in the midst of their third boil water order of 2018, which started Dec. 11; the first lasted nearly two months, from January to March, while the second, which was in place for less than a month, was lifted Nov. 13.

Municipal officials have said the problems that led to those first two orders were unrelated.
