St. Andrews’ Declan Smith, who also added two assists in addition to his empty-net goal, was named the game’s second star.

The Screaming Eagles (24-14-3), winners of two of their last three, are tied with Rimouski for seventh in the 18-team league with 51 points, two points behind the Islanders and Moncton, the two teams tied for fifth, and a point ahead of ninth-place Sherbrooke.

Charlottetown has a slight 3-2 edge through the first five games of the nine-game season series between the Maritimes Division teams.
