RCMP believe they found stolen tools in Inverness Co.

Inverness RCMP say they have found tools believed to be stolen.

They say officers searched a home on Hwy. 105 in Lexington and seized seven firearms including a sawed-off twelve-gauge shotgun.

Police say they also found power tools, generators, chain saws, and other tools.

23-year-old Shannon Francis MacDonald has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of firearms.

MacDonald was released and he’s expected in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court March 25th.

RCMP say they’re asking for help to find the owners of the stolen tools.
