The Richmond Academy Hurricanes host the Dalbrae Dragons in the Cape Breton West High School Hockey League.
The Hurricanes (7-2-2) are second in the five-team league with 23 points, three points behind Inverness-Baddeck Academy for top spot, and three points ahead of third-place SAERC; the Dragons (4-7-1) are fourth with 12 points, eight points behind SAERC for third, and nine points ahead of last-place Eskasoni.
Richmond Academy has won the first three games in the four-game season series.
Puck drop at the Richmond Arena in Louisdale is 7:30 p.m.
The Halifax Mooseheads play the first of three games in as many nights in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
They host the Victoriaville Tigres.
The Mooseheads (33-11-3), who have won four of their last five and are ranked eighth in the country, are fourth in the 18-team league with 69 points, five points behind Drummondville for third, and two points ahead of fifth-place Rimouski; the Tigres (19-27-3) are 12th with 41 points.
It’s the second and final regular season game between the teams- Victoriaville won the first 4-3 at home in October.
Puck drop at Scotiabank Centre is 7 p.m.
Halifax hosts Sherbrooke Friday night, then travels to Moncton to face the Wildcats Saturday night.
