A singer from Antigonish is ready to be on televisions across the country.
T. Thomason will make his debut on CTV’s The Launch Wednesday.
Musical acts will audition for a panel of mentors during each episode of the show.
Two acts are selected to advance and are given 48 hours to record their own versions of an original song.
Thomason told The Morning Show he was excited for celebrity mentor Sarah McLachlan.
“(She) was so wonderful to audition for- her feedback and her thoughts were great,” he says. “I’m excited for everybody to see that.”
Thomason said The Launch was recorded in October, and it’s been a big secret ever since.
“You know, it is really hard, especially when you’re seeing the social media around the show but there’s no announcement of the artists yet and you just want to tell your friends the big secret,” he said. “It was really exciting once it was announced.”
