The Mooseheads (37-11-3), winners of four straight and eight of the last nine, are tied with Baie-Comeau for third with 77 points, a point behind Drummondville for second, and four points ahead of fifth-place Rimouski; they’re ranked eighth in the country.
Halifax has won six of the first seven games in the nine-game season series between the Maritimes Division teams.
