Fifteen community groups in Richmond and Inverness Counties will benefit from the Provincial Wellness Fund.
Grants were awarded by the Nova Scotia Health Authority and the Department of Health and Wellness to non-profit organizations working to improve health.
Strait Richmond Community Health Board co-chair Michele Tabensky says these projects have been developed by community organizations to encourage a healthier and more active community.
