The top two teams in the Cape Breton West High School Hockey League square off when the Richmond Academy Hurricanes host the Inverness-Baddeck Academy Rebels.
The Hurricanes (9-2-2) lead the five-team league with 28 points, two points up on the second-place Rebels (9-3-0), who are four points ahead of third-place SAERC.
It’s the fourth and final regular season game between the teams; Richmond Academy has won two of the first three.
Puck drop at the Richmond Arena in Louisdale is 7:30 p.m.
The Halifax Mooseheads play their second home game in as many nights when they host the Saint John Sea Dogs in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The Mooseheads (38-12-3), coming off Monday night’s 6-1 win against Acadie-Bathurst in Halifax, have won five of their last six, and are tied with Baie-Comeau for third in the 18-team league with 79 points, three points behind Drummondville for second, and four points ahead of fifth-place Rimouski; they’re ranked eighth in the country.
The Sea Dogs (12-37-4) are 17th with 28 points.
Halifax has won the first three games in the eight-game season series against their Maritimes Division opponent.
