3 men charged in Port Hawkesbury theft

Three men have been charged in relation to a theft in Port Hawkesbury.

RCMP say last Monday a man was observed on surveillance taking approximately $140 worth of grocery items from a Port Hawkesbury store.

Police used a warrant to search a home in West Bay Road on Tuesday where they say several of the stolen items were found.

RCMP say they arrested and charged Douglas Michael Gale, 48 of Sugar Camp…42 year old Trevor Cecil Landry of Port Hawkesbury and Travis Austin Timmons, 28 of River Bourgeois with Theft Under $5000.

Gale is also charged with Breach of Probation.

A vehicle used in the theft was also seized by the RCMP.

All three were released and will appear in court in the coming weeks:

  • Gale – March 25
  • Landry – February 25
  • Timmons – February 12

The investigation is ongoing.
