AUS track and field Championship results (from Moncton Friday)

The StFX Men’s and Women’s Track and Field teams are participating in the AUS Championship in Moncton this weekend

Angus Rawling won gold in the 3000 metre race with a time of 8:18.82. He broke a 28-year old AUS record

Other medal winners include:

– Kirishnia Cooper with a silver medal in the long jump with a 6.41m

-the 4x800m team of Justin Major, Quinn Alexander, Aidan Doherty & Angus Rawling on an AUS silver medal run, 8:14.13

– Sam Gan took a bronze medal in the shot put with a throw of 13.14m

– Tim Brennan also had a bronze medal in the 60m hurdles, clocked in at 8.81

The X-Women took home a gold, four silver & three bronze medals.

– Allie Flower is a gold medalist and AUS champion in the 300m with a posted a time of 40.73

– 4x800m relay team picked up a silver medal run, 9:35.17 – Zoe Johnston, Aidan MacDonald, Hana Marmura & Jane Hergett

– Jane Hergett a silver in the 1000m race with a time of 2:59.93

– Megan Graham with a silver medal in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.27

– Zoe Johnston (10:25.49) and Rachel MacDougall (10:25.53) who won silver and bronze in the women’s 3000m race

– Lani Deakin had a bronze medal in the high jump with a 1.56m

The event wraps up Saturday.
