An Antigonish County couple has lost their home and belongings to fire.
The Bayfield family were not home when the call came in around noon on Saturday.
There were no injuries.
They have been assisted by Canadian Red Cross volunteers from Antigonish with food, winter clothing and other essentials, pending additional help through insurance.
The couple is staying with friends for the time being.
