A pair of StFX hockey players have received some national recognition.
Lindsey Donovan, a third-year blueliner with the X-Women, has been named a 2018-19 U Sports first team all-Canadian.
Tyra Meropoulis, a first-year forward with the StFX women’s hockey team, earned a spot on the all-rookie team.
The national award winners and all-star team members were announced at the annual all-Canadian gala in Charlottetown Wednesday night.
