Gas prices take big jump

The price at the pump has increased for the sixth week in a row.

Pump prices climbed 4.5 cents during the regular price adjustment at midnight, which means the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.19.9 on the low end, and $1.22.9 on the high end.

Prices have increased in 10 of the last 11 weeks.

Diesel went the other way, dropping 0.6 cents at midnight; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.24 and a maximum of $1.27.
