The warden of Richmond Co. says some people would like a trail to be kept to walking and cycling only.
Jason MacLean says the St. Peter’s Coastal Trail has been an ongoing dispute.
MacLean tells The Hawk before any decisions are made they need some information from DNR.
“Try to sit with the folks from DNR and have them give us you know an accurate update as to who owns the land and what is the potential for the land and just kind of give us a little bit of education on what’s going on with the land.”
MacLean says they will sit down with DNR in the near future.
The discussion started last May at the monthly municipal council meeting.
