The Fundy Highland Selects play their fourth and final round-robin game at the 2019 Bantam AAA Female Hockey Atlantic Championship in Clarenville, NFLD.
The Selects, based in Pictou Co., feature several local players; Bryan Smith, the team’s head coach, is from Antigonish.
They won their first two games of the tournament Thursday, then won against the Western Wind (PEI) Friday.
They face the East Rockets (NB) at 8:30 a.m.
The top two teams from the five-team round-robin advance to the championship game Sunday; the third and fourth-place teams play for bronze.
The Antigonish Rural League final resumes.
The Pleasantdale Panthers play the Heatherton Warriors in game two.
Pleasantdale shutout Heatherton 2-0 in the opening game of the best-of-seven, second-round series March 30.

The Halifax Mooseheads host Pleasant Valley’s Jacob Hudson, Antigonish’s Jake and Sean Stewart and the Moncton Wildcats in game two of their Quebec Major Junior Hockey League second-round series.
The Mooseheads won the opening game in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semi-final in Halifax Friday night.
Puck drop at Scotiabank Centre is 7 p.m.; the series shifts to Moncton for game three Tuesday night.
