A man arrested following a traffic stop in Inverness Co. is scheduled to return to court Monday.
John Clayton “Clay” MacDonald, 78, faces a pair of charges- possession and possession for the purpose of trafficking oxycodone.
MacDonald is expected for an election-and-plea hearing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court.
Police say they arrested a passenger when they stopped a car on Rte. 19 in Judique North and seized oxycodone in Aug. 2017.
They say they didn’t charge the driver.
