Pump prices take big drop

The price of gas is down in a big way.

Pump prices dropped as much as 6.1 cents during the regular price adjustment at midnight, which means the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.25.1 on the low end, and $1.28 on the high end.

It’s the second straight decrease since prices climbed in 12 straight weeks, and 16 of the previous 17 weeks.

Diesel is also lower, falling 1.4 cents a litre at midnight; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.23.6 and a maximum of $1.26.6.
