The Halifax Mooseheads open play at the 2019 Memorial Cup.
The Mooseheads, the host team in the four-team CHL championship, take on the Prince Albert Raiders.
Halifax lost the QMJHL final to Rouyn-Noranda; Prince Albert is the Western Hockey League champion.
Puck drop at Scotiabank Centre is 8 p.m.
The tournament’s other two teams- the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, with Beaver Meadow’s Ryan MacLellan, and the OHL champion Guelph Storm, square off in the second game of the tournament Saturday night.
