RCMP were called to a public meeting in Guysborough Co.
Sherbrooke RCMP say Thursday at 5 p.m. they responded to a 911 call indicating police assistance was required at a meeting due to several people causing a disturbance.
Police say they warned one man to leave and he refused.
They say the man resisted the officers attempt to arrest him.
RCMP say the man was eventually controlled, handcuffed and later released without charge.
