UARB members use interrupter to lower gas prices

We’re waking up to significantly lower gas prices Wednesday.

Members of the province’s Utility and Review Board invoked the interrupter clause, which was last used in Sept. 2017, to change gas prices ahead of Friday’s weekly adjustment due to significant shifts in market prices.

Pump prices are six cents lower- the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.14.4 and a maximum of $1.17.4.

UARB members also used the interrupter to drop diesel prices as much as 4.9, which means the new range is between $1.14 a litre and $1.17 a litre.
