Officials with the Nova Scotia Community College Strait Area Campus have held their 2019 convocation ceremony.
The ceremony, one of 21 across the province to honour more than 4,500 graduates, took place at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre Thursday afternoon.
Close to 280 students graduated from the local campus; Adrianne McMahon, a graduate of the Behavioral Interventions Advanced Diploma program, was chosen as the 2019 class valedictorian.
