Richmond Co. drug bust suspect has case adjourned

A man charged in relation to a drug bust in Richmond Co. is expected back in court in the fall.

RCMP say officers searched a home in West Arichat in Sept. 2018.

They say they seized cocaine, hash, marijuana, cutting agent, cash and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Police charged Jonathan Roger Vance, 25, with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and three weapons-related counts.

Vance, who pleaded guilty during an election-and-plea hearing in May, was scheduled to return to Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court for sentencing Monday; instead, the hearing was adjourned until Oct. 10.
