Two local emergency rooms will be closed throughout next week.
The Strait Richmond Hospital ER in Evanston is closing at 8 a.m. Saturday and will remain closed through next week; re-opening Monday 12 at 8 a.m.
Victoria County Memorial Hospital in Baddeck’s emergency department is also experiencing closures next week.
It will be closed Friday at 6 p.m. until Saturday at 8 a.m.
The ER will be closed again on Sunday from 6 p.m. through to Tuesday at 8 a.m.
It will be closed again from next Thursday at 8 a.m. to the following Friday at 8 a.m.
