Update: Charges against Jonathan Nicholson were withdrawn June 11.
One of the suspects in a 5-month drug investigation has had his court appearance delayed because the judge wasn’t able to be in court.
The judge who had been set to hear the case was stranded in New York.
Adam Chester Stark’s preliminary inquiry, which had been scheduled for Thursday, was delayed until Monday.
28-year-old Stark, of Port Hawkesbury, faces drug charges along with another man, 25-year-old Morgan Wallace Stark of Troy, in relation to the investigation.
In March, Adam Stark began preliminary hearings in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court.
In April, Morgan Stark was scheduled to set a trial date in Nova Scotia Supreme Court.
His hearing was adjourned until September 13th.
RCMP say they seized marijuana, a significant amount of cocaine, and drug trafficking paraphernalia after a search of a Port Hawkesbury home in May of last year.
