Two local emergency rooms are experiencing closures this week.
The Strait Richmond Hospital ER in Evanston is closed, and it will remain closed until Sunday at 8 p.m.
The Victoria County Memorial Hospital ER in Baddeck will be closed at 8 a.m. Monday until Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
The closures are due to lack of physician coverage.
If you need emergency medical care during that time you can call 911, or for non-urgent medical advice you can call 811 to speak to a nurse.
