Inverness Co. hires new director

A local municipality has announced a new departmental director.

The Municipality of the County of Inverness says they’ve chosen a new director for their Public Works Department, now called the Department of Infrastructure & Emergency Services, David Coulombe.

Municipal reps say he’s a resident of Inverness Co. but is currently working in Japan.

They say Coulombe is an experienced naval officer whose new duties will include direction of the municipality’s emergency services and water & wastewater work being done in the municipality, among other duties.
