Two local ER’s are closed for part of this weekend.
The ER at Evanston’s Strait Richmond Hospital will close at 8 a.m. Saturday until 8 a.m. Monday.
The Victoria County Memorial Hospital in Baddeck’s emergency room is closed this weekend as well.
The ER is experiencing evening closures from 4 p.m. until the following day at 8 a.m.
The evening closures are in place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through to Monday morning.
The closures are due to lack of physician coverage.
