Price at pumps up for second straight week

Gas prices have increased for the second time in as many weeks.

The price at the pumps climbed as much as 2.5 cents during the regular price adjustment at midnight; the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.15.6 on the low end, and $1.18.5 on the high end.

The back-to-back increases follow five straight weeks without an increase in gas prices.

Diesel is up 3.2 cents a litre, which means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.19.5 and a maximum of $1.22.5.
