Gas prices increase for third week in a row

The price at the pumps has increased for the third time in as many weeks.

Gas prices climbed less than a cent- 0.7 cents- during the regular price adjustment at midnight; the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.16.3 on the low end, and $1.19.2 on the high end.

The three consecutive increases follow five straight weeks without an increase in gas prices.

Diesel is up 0.8 cents a litre, which means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.20.3 and a maximum of $1.23.3.
