Getting guns off the streets was the focus for Liberal leader Justin Trudeau on Day 20 of the federal election campaign.
In Toronto, he suggested if Canadians want to have tougher gun control laws, the Conservatives are not your party calling it “at the heart of the choice that Canadians are facing in this upcoming election.”
Conservative leader Andrew Scheer meantime is promising legislation allowing 35,000 more Canadians to qualify and apply for the Disability Tax Credit.
Green Party leader Elizabeth May says other parties are not doing enough about climate change.
NDP leader Jagmeet Singh states if elected, his party will work towards getting $10 a day daycare in Canada.
He says to reach that “vision” the NDP will be “making a mass investment there.”
