Members of the Guysborough Waterfront Development Society say they’re trying to raise funds to help with repairs following Hurricane Dorian.
They say the storm significantly damaged the Guysborough marina with high winds and waves Sept. 7.
Society members say they’ve opened an insurance claim to help with the repairs, but they need help covering the $7,500 deductible.
They say they’re hosting a variety show fundraiser at the Chedabucto Place Performance Centre.
It gets underway at 7 p.m.
