A suspect in a stolen property case in Inverness Co. is expected back in court Monday.
RCMP say they found tools they believed to be stolen in January.
They say officers searched a home on Hwy. 105 in Lexington and seized seven firearms, including a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun.
Police say they also found power tools, generators, chain saws and other tools.
Shannon Francis MacDonald, 23, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of firearms.
MacDonald, who was released from custody after his arrest, entered not guilty pleas to all of his charges during his first court appearance in the case in March; he’s scheduled to stand trial in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court.
